‘A Hundred Miles Apart’ is a series of photos I clicked in Tibet 2013. This was my first trip without my father, the person who brought me into photography. He is also the person who taught me what I know today and the one I relied on for advice, on how to shoot and what to shoot. So my scope was to try and click as many photos and learn as much as I can alone. I wanted to click some cool photos but never thought about posting them, and I knew nothing about editing and the proper way to handle a camera, however, I have plenty of photos clicked out of a moving car going around a bend hoping to just get a quick picture of the surrounding countryside. I was 13 at that time after all and it was indeed an eye-opening trip.

From the buildings to the mountains to the people and the culture, history seemed to be as rich and everything I saw was so vibrant and breathtaking. These photos are the best ones shot during the trip while going towards Mount Everest having a valley with the Himalayas in the background – an amazing sight indeed.
