Pongsakorn Neton is a photography student at LaGuardia Community College. He has involved with Himalayan Elders Project in New York for a year. He photographs Himalayan elders while they are doing activities in a temple where a group of Tibetans found in 2012. Neton gets the ideas to photograph this community because he is interested in Tibet and other Himalayan countries. Moreover, he also concerns about the human right between Tibetans and Chinese government and their journey to find their freedom.

His purpose to do this documentary because he wants to show audiences how those people live in their new country where one is no freedom and another one is the prototype of freedom. At first, when he began, he thought it was not hard to photograph them, however, he faced many problems, such as elders cannot speak or understand English, and some of them do not want to talk about their history in Tibet. For those reasons, Neton has to go there back and forth when he has free time to spend time with them.

In conclusion, Pongsakorn Neton wants to show Tibetan and Himalayan people freedom in New York where they can do anything they want without any problems or violence.
