Lord Curzon’s Trail, a reminder of Lord Curzon’s efforts as Viceroy and his extensive trekking through the Garhwal Himalayas has opened for us a spectacular route to Kauri Pass. Situated at an altitude of around approximately 3800 meters it affords a spectacular view of some of the most magnificent peaks in the Himalayas.

A week of trekking brought me through Tugasi, a tiny hamlet nestled in the lap of these mountains. The tiny kids here will lift your spirits higher than surrounding peaks, as you walk along the trail, the gentle views and deathly silence with the exception of the occasional gushing stream, will calm your mind and soothe your soul as you continue your journey through the dwelling place of the Gods.
