We went to the highest post office (also a home to a wonderful family) in the world which was situated in Hikkim, roughly about 15,000 feet. As we were writing our respective postcards, we noticed a kid was looking at us. We tried talking to him but he shied away. After finishing our cards, my friend and I went to search for this kid. We found him running from his mother. So now, three of us were trying to catch hold of him but failed. His mother wanted to feed him and I wanted his photo. We played this game for around 20 odd minutes as one of my friends was still writing his card.
I felt heartbroken that I could not take a picture of this lovely kid. We left their house after bidding our goodbyes and as we were putting on our shoes outside we noticed this kid was peeping through the door. As soon as I took out my camera, he ran inside.
This continued for a couple of times more. I knew he was listening to us standing behind the closed door. So I tricked him and told him we were leaving, and, as soon as he opened the door to check if we had actually left, I got this picture.

It’s the story and the person that makes it one of my personal favorites of all the photos I have ever clicked.
