Statue of Guru Padmasambhava, the Indian Tantric master who brought Tantrism to Tibet in the 8th century. He visited numerous Himalayan localities, performing miraculous feats, taming demons and inspiring awe into the locals who became his disciples. He spread the Buddhist Dharma in countless places. In Dollu, Parping, Nepal he meditated in the caves in the area where this statue now rises.
